Its use is quite straightforward: use <a class="reference internal" href="new.html#module-new" title="new: Interface to the creation of runtime implementation objects. (deprecated)"><tt class="xref py py-func docutils literal"><span class="pre">new()</span></tt></a> to create an md5 object.
