Our Approach

If we publish a factual error, we correct it. We may also update wording, attribution, dates, names, locations, captions, or other details when a page could mislead readers.

How to Request a Correction

If you believe a report contains an error, please share the page URL, the specific statement you believe is incorrect, and the best supporting information available. Correction requests can be sent through the Contact page.

Review Process

The newsroom reviews reported issues, checks source material, and updates the page when a correction or clarification is needed. Small style edits may not get a public note, but factual fixes should be reflected in the published page.

Removals and Legal Requests

Requests to remove lawful published content are reviewed case by case. A removal request does not automatically mean the page will be taken down. In some cases, a correction, clarification, or update may be the better response.
